Are you a passionate and experienced support worker looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are currently seeking a dedicated Mental Health / Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to a client living in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment in South Ripley.
About the Role:
You will be working closely with a young individual whose interests include Marvel, anime, and computer gaming. The role involves supporting the client at both their own home and family residence. Key duties include:
Assisting with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
Supporting emotional wellbeing and promoting independence
Implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP) and managing restrictive practices
Mandatory Licenses :
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, or equivalent
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
Experience with PBSP and restrictive practices essential
