If this describes you, we would love to invite you to join us! We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team at Anglicare Sydney, based in Macquarie Park. This is a full-time maximum-term contract for 12 months, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission by ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees. Key Responsibilities: Accurately process end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and organizational policies. Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status. Prepare and distribute pay slips, ensuring all deductions and entitlements are correctly applied. Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide exceptional customer service. Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports for management. Assist with the preparation of payroll tax, superannuation, and other statutory obligations. Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations. Education and Experience: Two to four years’ payroll experience. Good knowledge of payroll procedures, payroll systems, time & attendance systems, and general staff procedures. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office. Experience with payroll automation and analysis is an advantage. Proficiency in Kronos/UKG, Workday, and Chris21 is strongly desirable.
