If this describes you, we would love to invite you to join us! About the Role: Anglicare is seeking a Lifestyle Worker to join our team at Anglicare Social and Wellness Centre located in Penrith. You will provide individualised support and leisure/recreational activities that enhance the wellbeing of clients (including those living with dementia) based on their documented social, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, physical and intellectual needs. Specific Accountabilities: Ensure all clients are respected and treated with empathy and dignity by offering services that support their unique daily living choices in a person-centred manner. Design, implement, and evaluate leisure, lifestyle, learning, and spiritual activities that enrich individual lives. Encourage client participation. Promote a Christian Care approach and Rhythm of Life principles in all client interactions, fostering independence and confidence. Assist in client assessments and care planning, focusing on strengths and holistic needs. Support clients in building meaningful community relationships in a safe environment. Engage in professional development, mandatory training (including dementia care), and team collaboration. Participate in continuous improvement, quality reporting, and compliance with Aged Care Standards. Encourage spiritual support and Christian witness through diverse opportunities for pastoral care. Foster a respectful and inclusive workplace, valuing cultural diversity including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage. Uphold a strong safety culture through safe work practices, consultation, and incident reporting.
