What You'll Do: Create Joyful Dining Experiences: Ensure all residents are respected and treated with empathy and dignity, offering them choices to live their daily lives uniquely and in line with their wellbeing. Maintain High Food Standards: Prepare food adhering to Anglicare's requirements, checking temperature, texture, and presentation to meet residents' preferences. Optimize Team Performance: Keep your team safe and efficient by organizing rosters, arranging training, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with WHS standards. Ensure Excellence: Oversee kitchen, dining room, and storeroom compliance with all legislative requirements, ensuring a clean and safe environment. Deliver Exceptional Service: Lead your servery staff to perform at their best, ensuring health and safety standards are met, and creating a warm, respectful dining atmosphere. Enhance Resident Wellbeing: Monitor and report on residents' behavior and contribute to their care plans, aiming to deliver 'moments of joy' during mealtimes. Manage Food Orders: Work with the manager to analyze facility needs, order the right quantities, and liaise with local suppliers. Promote a Safety Culture: Keep the workplace safe and clean, comply with safety rules, report hazards, and actively participate in safety activities.
