The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need. Contribute to success across the NDIA in this EL2 Scheme Platform Delivery role. We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic professional to join our team, providing leadership, control, planning and performance management.
The Scheme Digital Platforms (SDP) Branch shapes and delivers innovative, responsive, sustainable, and practicable solutions for National Disability Insurance Scheme to serve its stakeholders including participants, providers, staff, and partners.
The Scheme Digital Platforms Branch drives continual service delivery improvements to meet stakeholders’ evolving needs with a strong focus on accessibility. The branch is the designer and custodian of the state of art NDIA Salesforce Platform.
Your contribution will ring unique skills and perspective to enhance team dynamics, ensure operational success and achieve the organisation’s strategic goals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Our ideal candidate is dedicated to driving positive change through undertaking quality management activities such as peer and quality reviews of project plans, schedules, quality plans, test plans and statements of work.
You will have demonstrated a minimum of ten years’ experience working as a Program Manager delivering enterprise business application-based solutions via technology providers as well as experience managing outsource systems delivery providers.
Demonstrated experience in managing program delivery using a matrix resource pool of RTEs, Scrum Masters, Architects, Functional Consultants and Testers
You will have well-developed communication, influence and negotiation skills and prioritise stakeholder needs and foster productive work relationships.
Your strengths will include being comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and being enthusiastic about accessible design and development will be highly regarded. You will maintain a high work standard, consistently striving for excellence and taking proactive steps to achieve results.
Your adaptability allows you to take on additional tasks as the agency evolves. A positive attitude, integrity and genuine care for colleagues define your approach.
While experience in preparing and presenting program and project delivery strategies, plans and governance activities to diverse groups including business, technical management and testers is desirable, your ability to build strong workplace relationships and influence outcomes will make you well-suited for this role.

This role is available at various office across the nation (please see application form for locations), remote working arrangements may be considered. We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 2 years may be offered.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
