Make a Real Difference in a Young Person’s Life – Become a Drive for Life Driving Instructor Are you someone that is passionate about helping young people, and a strong belief in the power of second chances? If so, we invite you to be a part of something truly impactful. Drive for Life, part of The Salvation Army’s Youth Stream, empowers young people aged 16–25 who are navigating life’s challenges. We help them work towards one powerful, practical milestone: gaining their driver’s licence—and with it, independence, confidence, and access to education, employment, and housing. We’re looking for a full- time permanent Driving Instructor to lead our program in Kalgoorlie-Boulder. You will successfully Be a guiding presence—assessing and supporting clients through their journey. Keep everyone connected—liaising with local transport authorities, driving instructors, and volunteers. Make it happen—booking lessons, managing logistics, and ensuring clients stay on track. Build a village—recruiting, supporting, and matching volunteers with young people to complete logbook hours. Be a community connector—developing strong relationships with local stakeholders. Bring energy—engaging daily with young people one-on-one and in group settings. Help the program thrive—meeting KPIs and reporting benchmarks that show impact and growth.
