As a Care Services Employee, you will partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices and ensure they feel safe, valued, respected and engaged. You will provide direct care and assistance to residents with all activities of daily living, personal care needs (including personal hygiene) and attending to the daily running of the household as part of a supportive, dedicated team at St Vincent’s Care Services Edgecliff. This will be a dual role of Care Services Employee and Food Services Assistant. And a permanent part time opportunity with AM & PM shifts available across the week. Things that work for us: Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience is a must. Experience/ interest to work in the Kitchen when needed, highly desirable. Must be available to work AM/PM shifts across the week. Excellent customer service and communication skills Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan National Police Certificate: NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
