Your Role: As a Bus Driver at Anglicare, you’ll: Ensure residents are treated with empathy and respect, providing them with choice and dignity in their daily lives. Safely and efficiently escort residents on and off the bus, whether using steps or the hydraulic hoist, while adhering to all road rules and Anglicare policies. Maintain up-to-date First Aid qualifications and provide first aid as needed during transportation. Assist in the smooth running of the village by working cooperatively with other staff and ensuring the bus operates on schedule. Proactively contribute to transportation improvements by identifying hazards and reporting concerns to management. Promote a strong safety culture by maintaining a clean and safe environment, following all workplace safety practices, and participating in safety activities. Who You Are: You have a current Light Rigid (LR) NSW Driver’s Licence. You hold a valid First Aid Certificate. You’re a responsible, reliable driver with a heart for helping others and a commitment to safety. You work well in a team, enjoy being part of a community, and have excellent communication skills.
